Why is the AI the only paid thing?+
Because it's the only thing that costs real money every time you use it. Everything else — your lists, people, sharing, price watching — runs light, so it stays free for everyone. We make our living from small commissions when you buy through links, which never cost you extra.
What exactly uses an AI idea?+
One concierge answer (a chat message that comes back with gift ideas) or one "suggest more for this list" run. Building person profiles, reminders, price watching and everything else never touches your balance — and Magpie will nudge you to add context rather than let a credit go to waste on an empty question.
Can I cancel any time?+
Yes — Plus is month to month (or yearly if you choose). Cancel in Settings and you keep Plus until the end of what you've paid for. Your lists and people are never held hostage, and leftover credits stay yours.
Do credits expire?+
No. Buy a pack for the Christmas rush and the leftovers will still be there for Valentine's.
